Club meetings are held monthly, usually on the third Thursday of the month, at various locations around the Lower Mainland. There is no meeting in December. Meeting notices are emailed to members and others about a week in advance. Contact the Membership Secretary if you would like to be added to this email distribution list. Guests are always welcome.

The VRCBC runs its Vintage Closed Wheel (CW) races as a distinct race group during the CACC – sanctioned weekend events run by the Sports Car Club of British Columbia (SCCBC) at Mission Raceway Park Road Course from March to October of each year. Vintage Open Wheel (OW) and Sports Racers (SR) do not (yet) have their own grid and currently race with the regular OW and SR group.
On most – but not all – weekends, all of the Vintage track time is on the Sunday. Typically there is one practice session and one qualifying session before lunch, and then two races in the afternoon. Some seasons, we have a ‘Vintage Double Weekend’ during a SCCBC event with that typical schedule repeated on both the Saturday and the Sunday.
Of course during the BC Historic Motor Races weekend (here), which is organized by the VRCBC itself, Vintage racers have on-track sessions throughout both Saturday and Sunday.
The VRCBC has a long-standing, mutually supportive relationship with the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN) in the Pacific Northwest. VRCBC racers regularly attend their events at Pacific Raceways in Washington and Portland International Raceway in Oregon. And in return, many SOVREN members come north of the border, particularly to compete in our annual BC Historic Motor Races.
The VRCBC also works closely with the Calgary Vintage Racing Club.

Annual Banquet & Gala
Every November, VRCBC members and their guests close out their season with our Annual Banquet & Gala. We enjoy an excellent meal, present many awards (some serious, some not so much), do some “bench racing” and generally have a great time.
Other Events
In addition to our racing, the VRCBC also participates every year in other events around the Lower Mainland, such as car shows. Many individual Club members often take part in competitive events such as hill climbs as well.
