This was their 36th running  of the Pacific Northwest Historics. You can read all about SOVREN (aka Society for Vintage Racing Enthusiasts) and their events on their website (here). A number of VRCBC members and other 'northerners' took part and did well. The full results are posted on Race Hero (here). Our intrepid photographer Brent Martin was there also and provided us with the photos below. Thanks Brent! He has posted many more of his photos of all of the PNW Historics competitors on his website (here). We look forward to welcoming many of the SOVREN racers and their crews to our BC Historic Motor Races in August.

Several VRCBC racers and friends went to Pacific Raceway over the July 5th to 7th weekend:

Proudly showing 'our flag' (well actually our decals) were: Shelby Clark (#37 yellow Alfa), Steve Clark (#260 yellow Elva), Karlo Flores (#59 white Sprite), Paul Haym (#82 orange BMW), Tim Pickstone (#63 green Porsche), Phil Pidcock (#46 blue Spitfire), Gil Stuart (#29 red Volvo), Roger van der Marel (#40 green Alfa), Doug Yip (#782 red Mustang) and Ralph Zbarsky (#130 green MGB GT).
